Dr. Schmidt is an Orthopedic Oncology Surgeon in the Philadelphia area. He maintains a full-time practice in Orthopedic Surgery which began in 1986. He has held several leadership positions including, President of the Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society, Chief of Orthopedic Surgery Lankenau Medical Center, and President of the Medical Staff Main Line Health. Dr. Schmidt is honored to be our first non-Jewish physician to assume this role. He is deeply committed to the well-being of Israel and its people and will bring his passion for medicine and love for Israel to his leadership position as President of the APF.
