Prof. Aviram Nissan, a 1996-1997 APF Fellowship Grant Recipient, is the new Chief of Surgery at Hadassah University Medical Center’s Ein Kerem Campus in Jerusalem.
In 1996 Dr. Aviram joined the surgical department at New York’s Mount Sinai Medical Center for a one year fellowship. After this year of surgical education at Mount Sinai Hospital, Dr. Aviram returned to Israel where he served as an attending surgeon at Hadassah’s Mount Scopus Campus. Following his position there, Dr. Aviram became the Chief of the Division of Surgical Oncology at Rabin Medical Center Beilinson Campus, and will now fill the new leadership position as Chief of Surgery at Hadassah University Medical Center.
