The guest speaker on Sunday, May 17, 2015 was an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Forward Surgical Team Commander and a 2014-2015 APF Fellowship Recipient who spoke about his many challenging assignments, including that of a paratrooper and of a Special Operation Forces surgeon. The awe inspiring presentations took place at the Michael-Ann Russell JCC in Miami, and at CypressHead Clubhouse in Parkland. Many guests wiped their tears listening to the speaker’s personal stories from tough combat operations.
