Dr. Farchi is Head of the Social Work Department at Tel-Hai Academic College. Dr. Farchi serves in the military reserves as a senior official in the Home Front Command’s Population Array. Dr. Farchi has extensive experience in the spheres of resilience and psychological first aid, both in academia and in fieldwork, and has led psychological first aid and relief efforts to aid in numerous disaster events in Israel and worldwide.

Gal completed his MA in Emergency Medicine at the Ben Gurion University Community Health Professions School and his Bachelor of Health Administration at the Ariel University School of Health Sciences in Samaria. In 2018, Gal served as the Southern District Emergency Officer at the Israeli Ministry of Health, where he coordinates and supervises emergency preparedness in community Medical Services, and leads the preparation of population and health compilations in local authorities in the Southern District of Israel (Approximately two-thirds of the State of Israel).   • Dr. Eli Jaffe, PhD, Director of

Dr. Jaffe has published books and articles and is an authority in the fields of emergency medicine and medical management, and is also one of the leading researchers in Israel in the field of volunteers and the prevention of PTSD. Dr. Jaffe is a well-known lecturer in the Israeli universities.

  • Prof. Hezi Levy, MD, Director of Barzilai Hospital, Ashkelon

Prof. Levy served as Chief Medical Officer in the IDF until 2007, after which he was appointed Senior Vice President and Head of the Medical Administration at the Ministry of Health. In 2012, he was elected director of Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon, and in 2018 he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Minister of Health to health professionals. In 2020, Prof. Levy appointed as the director general of the Ministry of Health, and returned to manage Barzilai hospital in 2021.

Brigadier General Dr. Tarif Bader is the first Druze Surgeon General of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). A position that he filled for the last three years. In July 2020, he was appointed by the Ministry of Health’s Director General Prof. Chezy Levy as a member of the Consultant Professional Committee for the Prevention of and Fight against the Spread of the Coronavirus Pandemic in the Arab Sector.
