It had been almost 17 years since our last celebration in Israel, and it was worth waiting for! In November, APF friends, alumni and colleagues gathered at Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer to pay tribute to the Israeli healthcare system and to celebrate the decades of collaboration and friendship between our organization, the Israeli Ministry of Health and the IDF Medical Corps.
We were honored that the Minister of Health, Rabbi MP Yaakov Litzman, as well as other civilian and military dignitaries, participated in the festivities.
