Before coming to Canada Dr. Silberstein, a pediatrician at Soroka University Medical Center, completed a fellowship in Palliative Medicine. Upon completion of her SickKids clinical fellowship in Pediatric Palliative care, Oshrat will be able to push for improvements in Soroka’s pediatric palliative care. She will also participate in building education and training programs that will start to bridge some of the care gaps for the sizable pediatric patient population in southern Israel.
