Amir Goldshtein

Executive Director
Boston, MA

Amir Goldshtein has been an integral part of APF since 2012, bringing a personal commitment to Israel and a focus on connecting people, philanthropy, and medical expertise to strengthen its healthcare system. Born in Nahariya, Israel, and a graduate of Kendall College’s business school in Chicago, Amir draws on his Jewish-Israeli American identity to build lasting relationships between North American supporters and Israel’s medical community.

As Executive Director, Amir leads fundraising, donor engagement, strategic partnerships, and program development, helping translate generosity into meaningful impact. His work connects donors with opportunities to invest in Israel’s next generation of medical leaders, expand access to specialized care, and strengthen hospital readiness during times of crisis.

Under his leadership, APF has deployed more than 300 medical volunteers since October 7, 2023. He also advances APF’s fellowship program, supporting Israeli physicians who pursue advanced training in North America and return home with expertise that benefits patients and colleagues throughout Israel. Through these efforts, Amir works to ensure that every partnership and philanthropic investment helps build a stronger, more resilient healthcare system for Israel’s future.
