As you may know, one of the most valued and critical aspects of APF’s strong relationship with the Israeli healthcare system is being able to send medical volunteers who can seamlessly step in during times of crisis. But for us to be always at the ready, we need to be training North American medical professionals for the unique needs and characteristics of Israeli medical facilities and protocols during peacetime, as well.
A Variety Volunteer Opportunities
APF’s Medical Volunteer Program in Israel offers the opportunity for our members to volunteer in Israeli hospitals and/or visit primary-care community services throughout Israel. Using our connections and contacts throughout the Israeli medical community, we are able to help facilitate volunteer opportunities for durations as short as two-weeks. For those looking for a longer term commitment, we also have opportunities within hospitals and HMOs that can last 6-weeks or more.
Regardless of how long you can volunteer, your skills and training are in high demand in specialties and locations throughout the country. APF can help match your abilities and availability where you can do the most good.
