Dr. Danielle Akler is a graduate of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem’s Faculty of Medicine, where she completed the Tzameret Military Medicine Program. She previously served as a battalion medical officer in an infantry battalion and later as the brigade medical officer of the Kfir Brigade, including during the October 7th attacks and throughout the first year of the war. She subsequently served in the IDF Medical Corps’ trauma and combat Medicine Branch, focusing on combat medicine and operational medical research.
