About APF

Connecting people to strengthen healthcare in Israel

Supporting healthcare in Israel since 1950

Since 1950, APF has brought North American healthcare professionals and friends of Israel together to support medical education and patient care. We help Israeli clinicians pursue advanced training and connect people who want to contribute to Israel’s healthcare system.

Whether you are a healthcare professional, a donor, or someone looking for a meaningful connection with Israel, there is a place for you in APF.

Working across Israel’s healthcare system

APF is independent of any single hospital or medical institution. This allows us to support healthcare professionals and programs across Israel.

Through longstanding relationships with Israel’s Ministry of Health, the Israel Defense Forces Medical Corps, and medical institutions, we connect North American expertise and support with opportunities to strengthen care in Israel.

How we put our mission into practice

APF supports advanced training for Israeli physicians and nurses, strengthens emergency preparedness, and connects North American healthcare professionals with opportunities to learn and contribute in Israel.
