Although she has risen to the position of Director of the Pediatric Pulmonary Diseases Unit at The Lady Davis Carmel Medical Center in Haifa, Dr. Galit Livnat-Levanon sought to continue her medical education. With the help of an APF fellowship grant, she is pursuing a research fellowship in the Division of Pulmonary Medicine at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH, after which she will return to Israel with her spouse and their two children.
